• Arlington Job Networking Community (AJNC) - A networking group for job seekers with a diverse membership. We are an independent group of unemployed or under-employed people who are networking to find our next job. The AJNC meets in the Lighthouse at First Baptist Church of Arlington, every Monday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. The church is located at 300 S. • Bright Zone Jobs Ministry at St. Philip's in Frisco - The Bright Zone Jobs Ministry at St. Philip's Episcopal Church offers free, weekly support, advocacy and networking to help those who are out of work or underemployed and seeking a career change. • Brown Bag Networking @ St. Jude in Allen, TX - Brown Bag Networking and speaker. Bring your lunch and listen to a speaker then network with those who have attended. • Career and Employment Services of JFS - Jewish Family Service offers several different programs for the job seeker.     • Employment Networking for Individuals Age 50+ - Jewish Family Service professional staff provides meaningful and aggressive networking sessions to help participants address the challenge of "What do I do now?" as a job seeker with extensive employment history and/or life experience. • Career Care @ St. Andrew UMC - Directions: St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Pkwy, Plano. Park on the east side of the campus, which is the Mira Vista street entrance, and park in the upper North lot and enter those doors. The rooms are down the hallway.

  • • CareerConnection – Is the oldest and largest career management and networking organization in the DFW area.     • Career-in-Motion @ Watermark Community Church - Tuesday morning starting at 8am, Watermark Community Church, 3rd floor, located at 7540 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, TX 75251. They have created a 4 week curriculum which includes resume writing, interviewing, networking and mentoring.     • CAREERSOLUTIONS Workshop - The demographic of the group is very broad, from CEO to entry level, from highly technical to blue collar. Over time the mix changes; currently we are about 50% unemployed and 50% unhappily employed. There are four groups that meet in the DFW area. For more info go to www.CareerWorkshops.org.     • CareerWorks - Wilkinson Center - CareerWorks is a 2 week course designed for job seekers who have a hard time finding job due to employment barriers. In this class students will learn how to think like the employer, develop good answers to difficult questions and how to market yourself. Students will also develop a 5 year career plan. For job seekers without computer skills, there is a 6 week basic class that includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint offered prior to the start of CareerWorks. There is an onsite computer lab available for students to use for job search after class and a Jobview Kiosk machine.

    • Employment Transition Ministry (ETM) @ First United Methodist Church Richardson - volunteers assist both members and referrals of the FUMCR community in their efforts to find employment, change careers, or return to the workplace.
