Arlington Job Networking Community (AJNC) - A networking group for job seekers with a diverse membership. We are an independent group of unemployed or under-employed people who are networking to find our next job. The AJNC meets in the Lighthouse at First Baptist Church of Arlington, every Monday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. The church is located at 300 S. Career Care @ St. Andrew UMC - Directions: St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Pkwy, Plano. Park on the east side of the campus, which is the Mira Vista street entrance, and park in the upper North lot and enter those doors. The rooms are down the hallway.

  • CareerConnection – Is the oldest and largest career management and networking organization in the DFW area.     CAREERSOLUTIONS Workshop - The demographic of the group is very broad, from CEO to entry level, from highly technical to blue collar.     CareerWorks - Wilkinson Center - CareerWorks is a 2 week course designed for job seekers who have a hard time finding job due to employment barriers. In this class students will learn how to think like the employer, develop good answers to difficult questions and how to market yourself. Students will also develop a 5 year career plan. For job seekers without computer skills, there is a 6 week basic class that includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint offered prior to the start of CareerWorks. There is an onsite computer lab available for students to use for job search after class and a Jobview Kiosk machine.

    Employment Transition Ministry (ETM) @ First United Methodist Church Richardson - volunteers assist both members and referrals of the FUMCR community in their efforts to find employment, change careers, or return to the workplace.
