Dallas PIT Crew (Practice Interview Team)

The PIT Crew offers panel interviews in person and by Zoom video conference.

The PIT Crew is a group of hiring managers who volunteer their time to provide realistic practice interviews to those in job transition, seeking a new position, or in a career change.

Our goal is to "Prepare you to cross the finish line." We build your confidence enabling you to tell your story well in an interview situation. We do that by providing personalized interviews based upon a job description and resume selected by the candidate followed immediately by feedback from the interviewer(s). Candidates are encouraged to practice as many times as it takes to build their confidence.

What do we need from you?

1. Resume
2. Job Description - An actual job description you’re applying for or any sample job description where you have an interest.
3. Your availability (typically at least 1-3 weeks lead time) and whether you want an in-person or Zoom interview
   • In-person interview (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 5th Wednesdays)
     • Location: Christ United Methodist Church (3101 Coit Rd, Plano, TX 75075 [room N255]) Corner of Parker and Coit in Plano, TX.
     • Time: 1:00 - 3:00 PM Central time
   • Zoom
     • Regularly scheduled session -  4th Wednesdays at 1:00 PM Central time. 
       • Location: ZOOM - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88253604573?pwd=MlNFSC9DemlaclBxYnlxZXYxRml0Zz09
       • Time: 1:00 - 3:00 PM Central time
     • Custom Scheduled - A 1.5 hour block of time, Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Central time, dependent on coordinated schedules

      4. Let the team know what stage you are in the interviewing process.

The session will last about 1 hour and 30 minutes (interview, feedback, and Q&A). You will also get a copy of the recording (if Zoom) to review.
